Made from carefully selected premium-quality ragi (finger millet), our Ragi Atta is a wholesome and nutrient-rich flour that brings the goodness of traditional grains to your everyday meals. Naturally rich in fiber, calcium, and essential nutrients.
Ragi, known internationally as finger millet, is one of India's oldest cultivated grains and a traditional staple across South India and parts of Maharashtra and Karnataka. It's naturally rich in calcium and dietary fiber, and has a distinct earthy flavour that's become the base of many traditional dishes.
Ragi has one of the highest calcium contents of any grain, along with iron and dietary fiber — which is why it's traditionally given to children and used in porridge (ragi kanji) across generations. It's also naturally gluten-free.
Ragi is naturally gluten-free, unlike wheat, and has a denser, earthier flavour. It's typically used differently too — more often in dosas, bhakris, and porridge than in soft rotis on its own, since its lower gluten content makes it behave differently when kneaded.
These points describe the natural composition of the grain and are not medical claims. They're not a substitute for professional dietary or medical advice — consult a doctor or nutritionist for guidance specific to any health condition.
Every order is ground fresh on a stone chakki only after you place it — never pulled from bulk pre-milled stock. The flour is sealed immediately after milling to lock in freshness, then delivered across Mumbai, usually within hours.
Ragi atta is versatile — used for bhakris, dosas and uttapams, ragi idlis, pancakes, porridge (ragi kanji), ladoos, cookies and biscuits, and ragi cakes and muffins. For bhakris, knead with hot water for a pliable dough that's easier to pat into shape.
ShuddhOra atta comes packed in an airtight container, so there's no need to transfer it into another container — just keep it sealed after each use and store it in a cool, dry place, away from direct sunlight. Freshly milled whole-grain atta keeps well beyond just a few weeks when stored this way. Every pack has its exact expiry date printed on it, and we seal an oxygen absorber sachet into every pack to help extend freshness.
Every order is ground on a chakki only after you place it — no bulk production, no months on a shelf.
